Your Online Rental Order

Thank you for choosing to order your textbooks from Student Book Store. Our goal is to have the most used textbooks available for courses at UVA. Unfortunatley, several courses require packages or new editions that are not available used. During the ordering process you have the option to allow substitutions of new books when used are not available. Please make sure you use this option or we will cancel the books from your order.


We have partnered with BookRenter to provide rental options for most of our textbooks. Books available for rent in the store have "Rental" in front of the title, and books available from BookRenter say "Rent ONLINE." If you rent a book through the store you will get the best book we have available - selecting "new" or "used" does not matter. Books rented through BookRenter have a separate shopping cart that appears at the top of the page, and the books will be shipped directly to you.


If you don't see a listing for your course, don't panic. Chances are we have not received a book order from the instructor yet. We are receiving orders every day, so check back.
